The Hummer video is the best example I've seen yet demonstrating the shortcomings of an independent suspension.

Imagine the nightmare of wheeling in Moab with all independent suspension and no lockers....you'd be lucky to get more than 500 feet down just about any trail.

I wouldn't say that I hate IFS, I just don't want it to end up on the wrangler.
IFS works fine for the liberty and G.C. when the wife needs to go somewhere on snow packed and icy roads, hell, even down some trails, but the SFA can take more abuse and live through it.
If you put as much money, materials and build time into a custom SFA as they did the (stock, but still exspensive I bet) IFS on that pinz, I bet the SFA would last longer and take more abuse than that IFS.
