Those vehicles that come with synthetic prolong the breakin process. To a point, those particles assist in the breakin and besides the larger particulates are trapped in the filter.
I am a firm believer in vehicle maintenance. I am not knocking a shorter schedule, I'm just saying its wasting money. Allow the lubricants to perform as they are supposed to.
I have seen what happens to many a 2 stroke (RC Aircraft) when you start off with synthetic oil. Alot of 2 stroke guru's use cheap oil to assist in the breakin in, followed by a hi quality oil to prolong life.
