37s with 5.13s on a D30 front axle here. I dont wheel it insane but I dont baby it either. Had mine set up like this since February - probably been wheeling about 20 times since then. No problems so far.
I had discussed going ahead and upgrading to D44, but decided Id rather spend the money on other things and replace it when it breaks. I see no point in replacing it before then. May eat those words - but so far, so good.

Awesome. Thats what i wanted to hear! COnsider the trigger pulled on the 37's. I'm pretty gentle on the skinny pedal when wheeling...But I think the magazines and tv shows all had me pointed towards eminent destruction if I went with 37's. Propaganda I say!

All i have to say( i have been in the same position as you for the last year! Finally decided on 37's though, no just need to get some more money!) If you want 37's, don't waste money on something you don't want as much(like 35's!) Plus you have a Rubi from you bio thingy atleast! You should be fine! Just dont going Baja racing down a mountain!
Or up it for that matter...................

Bob from 4wd hardware owns the big red JK on all the covers runs 37's on his Dana30.
He hasnt broke any front shafts yet, but he's snapped the rear 44 already. He's isnt easy on the throttle. He doesnt beat it either.

Is the rear 44 out of the Rubicon the same as the 44 in the Sahara/X?
Would Chromoly shafts take care of the the issues or are the 37's kind of borderline for the 44's that come on the Rubicon?
