Default Odd theft

So I went up to my dad's house today to change my oil. I went in my glove box and I noticed my owners manual was gone I guess someone decided they needed one. I don't lock my doors as I don't want someone to cut the top to break in. Everything else was still there just the manual was gone. Oh well, at least I still have the PDF version.

You didn't have anything else in there with it, did you? I ask because I keep my registration paperwork in that same canvas holder. Thieves used to get the registration papers from a vehicle to find out who wasn't at home, then raid their home while they were at the theater, mall, etc. They can also use that paperwork to learn where that vehicle is kept at night--for later mischievous action.

Remove your glovebox and check behind it. I removed mine & found a map that I thought my daughter had borrowed/lost, the Freedom top bag instruction sheet and assorted nick-nacks.

Also make sure that your insurance card isn't missing. You don't want someone making a false claim in your name against your policy.

It's not behind the glove box. I ordered a spare registration card. Luckily I keep my insurance card in my wallet. I"m still surprised they didn't take my tire pressure gauge that was sitting on top it. Good times.

Some clown stole my half doors off of my Sahara.....from my own driveway.

I would rather my owners manual get yanked any day of the week-
