Default Not how I expect to get the first ding...

I've had my jeep for 1 month. Just over a thousand miles. I've only had it off road once, and kind of babied it, thinking I'd give her a little bit of dent/scratch free break in period.

Well today the wind started up and I heard a noise outside. Went to check it out...

Found a branch in the driveway and two dents in the hood. It's minor, but now I guess I can rough her up a bit on the trail without that first ding fear.

I hope the picture makes it look worse than it really is.

Nice speed dimples. I bet they give you at least 10hp at the wheels. Add a few more and your 'character' points will start adding torque.

Not really. It's a big ass tree. It must have fallen from pretty high up. I was trying to figure out how one branch made 2 dents. I'm guessing it hit and flipped. The smaller dent has a few scratches with it, but should buff out.

If you have a local "Dent Genie" they can get that out!

I feel ya man. For me I was cleaning the wipers and let them up. Then decided to check under the hood. Lifted the hood and the wiper gouged it. 1st week of having the Jeep

That sucks!!... I dimpled mine when I let the mirror bump the cowl.

Has anybody used compressed air from the can you use to clean your computer keyboard to get a dent to pop out?

Better asked, "Is there a way to get these out without spending an arm and a leg?

A good dent guy should be able to get it out. Call local dealerships and see who they use and recommend
