Have no idea how to post the link from this "Mac", however typed in "J C Penny/Jeep", and got "www.4wheeloffroad.com" with old ads from 1977-2007. Loved the Farah Faucet (God rest her soul) hair styles on the models. (Original "Jeep" porn)

Wow.
Yeah, okay, I am really new to Jeeps, any sort of off-road driving, and part replacements, modifications, etc, so please forgive my non-tech lingo.

I've only ordered a couple items so far, from Quadratech, with no problems. I haven't bought anything else yet because a) I'm saving my pennies, and b) it's taking me forEVER to research the various threads to even put my own questions together.
But that said, with seeing this thread and others, how David handles his business, NorthRidge will be right up there in my vendor searches. He also handled the previous giveaway situation with class...And I just read a thread yesterday about some new locker-spline-thingy (don't want to hijack with "What's a spline?"), piginajeep had a question about it, and David said something about making a custom other-thing for him so it would work on his jeep. What the what!?
Yeah, it may be wierd giving props to someone I haven't done any business with yet, but I'm just not used to seeing that from a business, and I like it.

my 1/2 cent

I have noticed that large and heavy products at Northridge are above retail probably because they include free shipping. If you get a quote for the shipping and add that to the retail price, you will notice that the product price is still discounted.

Northridge is outstanding in my opinion, but I still go to Quadratec for items Northridge doesn't carry/stock.

I've ordered from several sites and it always comes down to lowest price with shipping. Quadratechs shipping always made me do a double take; You can order a $200 tuner the size of a cell phone and it costs $40 to ship, but a bottle of soft top cleaner that is much bigger ships for $3. Oh well, run your business how you like. As long as I can still buy great parts online or over the phone, I am happy.

Well first off posting a topic like this is going to start a battle none the less. Seriously what was the point? I personally have not ordered one thing from Northridge, but I also do not own a JK yet (After AIT). But I can tell you I will be ordering my parts through Northridge hands down, simply for the fact do you see Quadratec on here? No. Northridge actually cares about the business and their customers not just making a dollar sign.

No reason to change the topic but I signed up a long time ago with intent to buy a JK but things changed and that didn't happen.

Maybe I jumped the gun on the whole Quadratec not being here. I can admit when I am wrong but with that being said I still have a higher respect for Dave because he is active on the forums.

I wish there was a "Built by Northridge" sticker. I'd wear it proudly on my jeep.

Nothing bad against quadratec, just that you call north ridge and you get the owner on the phone and you can get real solid advice. Quadratec phone sales guys sometimes sound like they can't be bothered.

I've spent a good amount on coin at Northridge and dave has done some nice things for me in return.

Dave also recognizes my caller ID.. Its always a personal greeting..

Thanks Dave
Steve
