Thanks everybody. If you were in my shoes you'd need to talk to them ASAP. Of course I know it's a weekend, or I would have just called.

I got a defective set of gears from them. The pinion shafts were not machined properly and the yoke bottoms out on the shafts prior to contacting the outer bearing, making it impossible to tighten the pinion or crush the sleeve. This has been verified by the two master installers with a combined 50 years of gear experience.

They are yukon gears and im sure they will help me out. The installer is a yukon distributer as well and he is going to contact yukon. They have a warehouse in TN so if we can get the word to them I should have replacements in 1 day. Jk has been on the rack for 5 days now and is costing me 60 bucks a day on car rental. The carrier isnt a issue since i replaced it with a grizzly locker. Havent even got to put that in since the pinion is step 1.

I will call you first thing Monday morning I just saw this and your pm. Sorry about the troubles with the gear but I am 100% positive between us and Yukon we will get you handled.

To answer the other question about will I have the same issue ??? I highly doubt it . We have sold and installed so many Yukon Jk gears with maybe 1 or 2 issues out of probably 10,000 I think your good!

Also with the crush sleeve they are very tight and we use a breaker bar with extension every time also

David
