Ever wonder what a JK/Fj combo would be like.....Apparently CHINA thought it would be interesting so now there producing one.

Those pics have been around awhile, but it's the first mention I've seen of the powertrain. A four cylinder in that? And we complain about the JKs performance. It's not bad looking though, but I despise the way the Chinese blatanly rip off styling cues from established automakers.

 

Amen to that on both counts... you can bet that if one of our manufacturers was ripping off designs the Chinese would be all over it like stink on shat & suing for damages............

 

Chevy sued Chinese automaker Chery a while back, implying they were trying to move in on the name recognition. I think Chevy lost that one. Obviously automakers steal cues and trends from each other all the time (Jeep vs Hummer-seven slot grill lawsuit), but the CHinese have a long history of blatant ripping off, or totally ignoring copyright and patent law (outside the auto industry).

 

OK, wtf should they name this thing, The Humper?
