Warlock13: how can I bulletproof a Dana33? I have broke the front diff one and the U-joints twice... how can I beef up the U-Joints, Ball-joints, Hubs?
I need to replace the left up and lower balljoints and right hub, that's why I ask

the D44's that where for sale where all from overstock. Chrysler had a huge amount of these laying around and needed them gone. They had anticipated the rubicon to sell like crazy and ordered up a ton of front axles. Well they ordered to much. Personally I am planning on just buying the rubicon housing from the factory and building my own front 44. Its still in the planning phases. This info was passed to me by my service manager at my dealership.

How would I bulletproof my 09 JK 4 door diff? I *THINK* it is a D-35, not a D44. I ordered it a month agao and it has not arrived, but for some reason I think it is coming with a D35?

If you're getting an X or Sahara, you'll have the D30 front and the D44 rear. You can upgrade the D30 front with chromoly shafts, re-inforce the tubes with sleeves, and gusset the C's and be in pretty good shape.
