Default No more clunk!

hey guys just wanted to thank everyone for their feedback with my issue! I ended up trying electric tape on the tailgate latch and it worked out perfect. Still hear minor rattling on the inside which is due to the seatbelt but can def live with it!! Cant believe something so minor could make such an annoying clunk!!!! Thanks again! Oh yeah, Go Bulls!!!!!

I wrapped the latch inside of the the jeep where the tailgate grabs onto. I used just 3m electrical tape like everyone mentioned. Try it out!

I had the same issue but it was with the driver's side door. I did then same tape think and it fixed my issue. Just in case it is not your rear door.

I think I am going to need that fix.

But I am gonna use duct tape.

Just so my friends can tease me about using duct tape on one more thing.

I had a BAD clunk in my tailgate too on my new 2011. Took it to the dealer and they adjusted the latch for free under warranty. No electric tape lol
