I wave when I can....depending what else is going on at the time. If they do not wave back to me..their loss. I think about it for like.......1-2 seconds.

I find the waves to be very rare also...maybe 1 every couple of days, but i do mostly highway driving so that could be the reason

Around here I waved at about 50% of the time whether it is an older jeep or not. Some of the soccer moms even wave back but that might be b/c I coach a local HS team or they just gave up and only wave at me b/c I never stopped waving at them. But I have to say I do get more waves when the top is off also. So here is a wave to everyone.

I am a first time Jeep owner (but have off-roaded for years) and was not aware of the Jeep wave until I started receiving them. I love it but must admit I forget sometimes.

Our sales rep made sure to inform my wife about the wave and she got so excited when someone waved to her. I guess she was easily amused lol. I think it is kinda neat though--I never hear of H3 owners having stuff like that happen.

The original poster was complaing that since he got HIS JK he isn't getting waves not that JK's aren't waving at him.

Most of you have turned this back into Unlimited's and soccer mom's have killed the wave. Not at all what he was asking about.

When I first moved to my small town, nobody waved. I wave to everyone - and kept waving. I see the same Jeeps around town all the time, so it was inevitable - everyone waves now
