I searched, but could not find anything...

Went to Jeep.com and built a 2009 Xs and there was the 1/2 door option.

I then built a 2009 Xs Unlimited and 1/2 doors was not an option - are they discontinued for the Unlimited in 2009?

 

Man I hope not I wanted to get these later on. Did you call the dealership maybe they didn't update their site.

 

They are only an option on the bare bones X. All the other models now come stadard with the power windows and locks.

 

According to the Jeep site the only way to get half doors is with a soft top.The model doesn't matter.

 

Trey the build your own for a 2009. I can only find them listed for the lowest priced X with a soft top.

 

I found them on the X S package - but Not on the unlimited. They are also available on the 2 door Rubi.

But - they are not listed as on option for ANY Unlimited models.

I'm not looking to get one (just sold my 1/2 door Rescue Green Unlimited a week ago) - still have my 2 door Sahara. I was poking around to see what had changed and to see the new colors. This may be good info for someone looking for an Unlimited with 1/2 doors....you may have to get it used.

 

Gee, they keep talking about an factory aftermarket half door kit. Guess by getting rid of the oem factory option, they think they are getting a captive market for the overpriced kit. Least rumor I saw was $1000 per pair, in primer. You have to add paint and uppers. So that is like 4K total for the unlimited.

 

Just because they don't make them as an option for the new unlimited, you could always just order them as a set of replacements. They will always make them because they will need to be replaced in the case of an accident. If not some aftermarket company will come out with them.

 

I was at a dealership in w. virginia and they had 2 or 3 unlimiteds w/ 1/2 doors

 

Spoke with dealer today and they stated that the only model to buy with the half door option is the X package. The dealer stated that the X has four different packages available but only two have the half Door. My experience with the half doors is that they SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
