"Newbe" needs info on lift/tires
I've an 08 4DR JK Unlimited. I'm in need of new tires and thinking about putting a lift on it. I've currently have 33 MT baja MTZ on ProComp 17s. I know I want to put 35s on, but unsure of best lift and tires. There is a jeep specialist in Tampa who wants to put Goodyear Fierce and a 3" lift for $2060.00. Don't know if this a good deal even though they come highly recommended.
After reading multiple threads I've learned a lot, but want to know if anyone is running 35 Fierce tires and what they think. I've gotten 60,000 miles on my MT, but looking for something a less expensive. Also looking at the Teraflex 3" lift, but want to know if I need the rear flexarms? I ride 90% on road, but just bored with the look. Appreciate all comments.
