New or used?

Go with the new one, I got a '10 unlimited and use mine to head up north and fly fish ,holds all my gear with the seats folded down and You'll have the warranty for when things go wrong. Just plan on dealing with the roof leaks yourself....

Two things I will never by more than 20-30k miles used...sports car and a wrangler..
I have virtually the same but a 2012 auto. From it sounds like you use it for the sport will do fine. That is how I use mine. I have mine down trails and what not in the ozarks and washboard dirt roads in the panhandle in Texas and rides so smooth. Buddy takes a 09 ram lonestar on the same roads and the jeep is a lot more comfortable. No snow to compare to yet.
Not sure what Yota your coming from but if you arnt oppose to roof racks you can get them fairly inexpensive. It may make it harder to take the top on and off though.
