Just picked up a 2010 jk sport 6 speed with 40000 miles on it and I love it but needed a lift really bad so I just ordered the rough country 3.5 series 2 lift with shocks for 450 out the door was gonna put a set of 35 12.50s in a all terrain I don't do alot of mudding but do work in the oil and gas field so do use alot of 4wd but just found out I have 3.21 gears and don't want to regear it right now so was thinking about downsizing to maybe a 295 or a 305 does anyone else have this lift with those tires on it? Sorry, had to get that out of my system. To answer your question, I'd like to refer you to a super thread by Dirtman on this very subject. It's stickied to the top of the Modified JK subforum and gives some great info on lifts and how much you need. Let me just suggest that you stay below 2.5"--maybe 3" tops--unless you want a lot of additional headaches and expense or unless you want to go to tires larger than 35".
