not necessary, everything is circulating regardless of whether you engage the t-case or not, everything needing lubrication is getting it every time you drive in 2wd

There is nothing not flowing when in 2wd versus 4wd. You can do it if you please, but not necessary.

Because the front hubs are permanently engaged (I'd rather have old school lock-out hubs to save wear and eliminate vibration) the front axle and driveshaft are always rotating and getting lubricated. Your front end is disengaged at the transfer case. Periodic use is unnecessary in the JK.
