My advice would be to buy a 2012. For that kind of money, the extra 83 horses would be nice.

That thing is lsited for more than I paid for my 2012 Rubi JKU with leather, nav, etc!! It does have a long arm kit on it, but appears to be a Pro COmp. Not bad, but there are better. It has no bumpers, no sliders, chopped stock fenders, and quetionable wheels in my opinion. THe DC2s are ok, but not on green, again my opinion. THat is a lot of coin for a Rubi that really does not ahve that many mods or $ in it. The trek top is ok too, but the new NX is better. I agree with previous post, buy a 2012 and build how you want it

check that, it has a "useless" front bumper that has no winch mount or light mounts on it. (sorry, useless to me, but may be great for someone else)

I work at a dealership and we just offered a customer $27k trade in for his 2010 gray JKU Sahara. 20" Rims and 37" tires and same mileage and leather, nav and all the extras. I would say they should have some room to move on that. Offer $30k - $31k for it but be ready to walk away. For $34k you would be better going with a 2012 Rubi. I would much rather have that than the 2010 IMO.

Default Jeep.com

Go build you one on Jeep.com. Take the price they give and reduce it by $2-3K and that is where you should be. My 2012 Arctic MSRPed at $38724. I was offered a price of $36228 (Not including rebates and taxes). It will come down to you and your dealer agreeing on a sale price, trade value, and options. Take a look at truecar.com as well.

Bottom line: the 2012 is a better buy over that 2010. You get all the upgrades of 2011-2012: better interior, stronger engine, improved MPG and all for near the same price. Warning: Know what you plan on doing with your Jeep before selecting gearing and such. It's expensive to change latter and is a $0 option from the factory. So get what you want now.

That's good news for us. High re-sale and trad-in values will be nice. Although I think I'll have this ride well into the future. With all the aftermarket parts, I should be able to keep it indefinately.
