I'm sure you’ve seen the new campaign pushing the issues from Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep, that they've heard what we are asking for... Then go on to tell about the bigger motor or..... As they go on in each commercial about improvements.

Well, I wish they could here the plea in my voice when I ask for that Diesel Jeep Wrangler 4x4 4 doors.

I’ve even tried importing one of these through a couple firms… just not practical.

I wish there was an effective way to show real representation of the numbers of individuals that would respond with a purchase of a vehicle that would have this kind of torque for off-road use, the deep water capacity for off-road use of a diesel, the added economy we all need and the long life expectancy of the diesel engine in a Wrangler.

I really like this new JK design. It was literally redesigned from the ground up by Mercedes engineering at every nut and bolt. The caravan engine though, it’s a slap in the face.

Even the 2500 lb towing capacity is such a joke in the competitiveness of today UV.

I agree with most of your points, I was shocked of the tow capacity and the engine not being available in a V8. I can get a mini-van with a V8 and many other odd vehicles yet I can't get it in a jeep?

It's embarrasing that the tow capacity can not handle more than 3500 lbs. What are the skimping on? It doesn't make sense.

 

You know we have the power for change.
-We can boycot the JK until Jeep offers a larger or diesel engine. Why should they have an engine option if the Dealers cant keep them on their lot.
-Everyone who wants an engine other than the 3.8L can write Jeep so Jeep can hear your voice.
-Only buy the Grand Cherokee with the CRD. Then the JK sales will drop and Jeep could see a diesel option on a JK could boost JK sales again.

We have to speak to Jeeps pocket book show them Diesel will make them money.
