Why doesn't someone come up with an alarm that intead of a horn going off that no one pays attention to have a voice say. You have just had your picture taken. Might even add a flash in all directions. Maybe even add a camera.
Or would we be invading the thiefs privacy?

 

I like it... should be easy to have your rock lights flash at least... Maybe incorporate the train horns someone mentioned in another thread afterwords. that would be fun

I had my softtop cut open. They stole some CD's, some pocket change, f-d up my seats, and stole my original Jeep window sticker.

They left the knife...probably had fingerprints all over it. Neighbor even got good description of thief. The police flat out said they were too busy to run fingerprints on a knife for such a small crime. Unfortunately, I imagine they would say the same thing if you had the thief's pic.

Jacka$$'s out there trying to steal peoples $h!t so they can buy crack. WTF are they going to do with my window sticker? Maybe they want to buy one and were keeping it for the EPA fuel mileage.

 

Some days ya gotta scratch your head. I had a 1966 Chevell SS and I went out one morning and you could stick your hand in the dash where they busted a hole to hot wire it. The police came and made out a report and was ready to leave when I happened to lean on the hood and it was warm. I said hey this car has been moved and if you look at the dome light you could see that they broke it so they wouldn't be seen and you couls see finger prints on the turned rear view mirror.
I asked him if he was going to have prints taken and he said no it wouldn't do any good. Instead he questioned me about a rape that occured the night before. He also said he had driven past my house the night before and hadn't seen anything looking at me out of the corner of his eye. Gotta say i wasn't a very happy camper that day. Told him that it really pissed me off because now I didn't know how I was going to get to work and he said hot wire it. Told him heel I didn't know how to hot wire cars. At least he was nice enough to show me how to hot wire a car. I guess some good comes out of most any mishap.

 

With cop attitudes like that, citizens needs empowered to beat the living sh!t out of criminals. I guess they were too busy generating revenue for the district to worry about you.

 

Dude - there's a commercial on the radio for a stereo/alarm place in SA that says they have an alarm that WILL take pics.

 

Wasn't there a device like "The Club" that would administer a non-lethal change to the jackass breakin' in to your vehicle? Illegal in a few states as I recollect... That's the ticket. fry the fookers....especially for stealin' your window sticker!!!

 

As I've said before, this should be legal.

 

An alarm that you can program to say what ever you want.
