Default New 2012 color black forest green clear coat

Has anyone seen what this color looks like? I can't seem to find the color in any articles or threads and with the natural green being discontinued, this might be an option. Thanks!

Check out post 25+ in this thread: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...=1#post2483693

There's a couple shots in there for what folks think BFG will look like. Thought it might be on jeep.com for 2012 but they still have Natural Green up there.

Thanks. I'm not sure I like that green. I expected it to be darker with a name like black forest green.

There's no way that is black forest green.

Why would you even want a green that is so dark you can't tell whether it's black or green?

I don't get it. If you want green, why not have a green people can identify as the color green.

I thought I read where it's a light shifting color - green one way, black the other, depending on your view angle or sun or something.

I also think that it is not Black forest green, I think it is almost black, and that is very bad, only smurf colors.

But the german page show the same color as here

The German website makes it look like Natural Green Pearl.

The 2012 color chart makes it look black.

I had a bicycle that looked black in the shade, but was a dark metallic green in the sunlight. It was cool as hell. (Some bastard stole it in college).

When I was looking at trading up to an 11 I saw a dark, almost black green color on a JKU. They said it was the natural green pearl but it was way, way to dark to be. Possibly a test run from chrysler?
