Default New 2011 JK, what is this?
Just bought a 2011 JK. I found this under my steering column. Doesn't look factory. Anyone know what this is?

It's a new JK. This is wired in. I pushed the button, but it didn't do anything that I could tell

You must be a terrorist... That's a standard Mk 5 Mod 73 tracking device. The cat's out of the bag now.

Is it the continuum transfuntioner? Haha I've never seen that before. Weird! I wonder what it is too

Where is it located?
I think the post saying it might be part of the dealer's security stuff may be correct.
