Need some opinions
I want to either paint my grille with the American Flag, or a just a grille insert or have the grille with the insert both painted as one piece with the American Flag just like on all the new fire trucks. I wouldnt do the painting of course. by insert I mean behind the grille, like many have done here, I would jsut need something thick enough to have enough paint to see lol
what do you guys think?
Camp I may have a small job for you haha
oh anyone with some PHOTOSHOP skills can paint flag on black jeep grille lol

I guess if you're going to do it then do the entire thing, not sure how it would look though. The problem I see with the inserts only is that with such little surface area, you won't be able to tell what it is supposed to be.

I would read the rules and regulations for the Flag.
I don't believe the flag or it's likeness should be on anything that may get soiled. The grille is questionable.
IMO if you want to display the flag on a vehicle, fly it from a mast on the right front fender.
If you go forward, you should not put the "Jeep" back over it. Nothing in print should overlay the flag. Even when there is patriotic intent.
The definition of "flag" means anything in likeness. The B of A symbol is considered to be a flag and subject to the rules.

instead of paint i would recommend doing a vinyl wrap. you can have the grill wrapped this way you don't have to paint it and if you don't like it you can peel it off.

looking at the pictures i would go with the inserts unless you toned down the color on the flag make it look more old and used for the entire grill then i think that would look better.
