Anyone know how long the wait is on just a simple stripped down Unlimited 6 speed with tow package?

 

The local dealer told me that "Right now they cannot order any. I think it is due to an issue with the new removable top design." Does that make sense to anyone . . . I'm willing to wait 12 weeks or so and want to get it in the pipe, has Jeep stopped new orders?

 

My sales guy told me they were out of unlimited tops right now. Don't know if that's true or not, but there's no wait for the 2dr. Mine is on it's way!

If you order one without a hard top you might get one quicker.
Do a dealer inventory search for your state first.
Maybe there's one just waiting to be snatched up.

It seems like you be able to find one with a little digging and research. Where do you live? - as members in that region might know of a dealer who has one.
