I'm soon to order a Rubi Unlimited, I just sold my diesel pickup and am driving the spouses Trailblazer until the lease expires beginning of June. I've been hearing some horror stories on waits for the Rubi Unlimited, when should I order mine? I'm beginning to think I need to in February to be safe...

Order yesterday if you can. Hell, mines been on order since July 10, 2006 if that's any indicator.

 

You would think by summer we should start seeing more rubicons on dealer lots. so if your not to picky on what you want you might not have to order. if you do decide to order go there today.

 

the dealer near us, has two rubicon unlimiteds just drive down to ohio and buy one.

 

Thanks for the replys. I guess I will start Emailing Dealerships for quotes now. I want to order one because I want it optioned out exactly as I want. Since I have the time I figured I will order. I hope I get a good price near invoice, I get a GM discount and this is the first new DCX vehicle I've ever considered purchasing.
I'm a bit torn, the wife and I went to a dealership last night and test drove an X. I had wanted to order a Red Rock Clearcoat, but after looking at one in person, I don't think I like the color anymore. She does not like the greens, so I'm not sure on the color. I guess I had better make up my mind soon.

 

Get the light greystone, I think everyone likes that color. If you are ordering, don't pay more than $500 over invoice, some guys here have done even better.

 

I like all the colors except for Red Rock. Never been a big fan of Maroons on anything though.

Hopefully they will have a Dark-Grey for MY2008.

 

Throw a $500 deposit down and order now. Work out the pricing up front and get it in writing to avoid the "I don't remember that" b.s.
