Default Need help regarding 33's

Getting ready to put some duratrac 33's on my 12' JKU on stock 17's. Guy at Discount said no leveling kit required (even though I plan on putting on a teraflex leveling kit). Does that sound right?

Also, will my ride change? Will it feel any different? I'm just kinda hesitant to screw with a brand new jeep.

Any pics would be appreciated

Thanks for any help!!

You will be fine with that setup.

I went with same tire and didn't notice any changes in ride quality. I couldn't be happier!

It's going to feel a little different. I have 33s with the teraflex leveling kit but and I can tell it has bigger tires and a lift but it's minor and the looks are well worth it

Go for it. I waited two years with 2010 until the stock tires wore out. The ride was much better. Lost a little power, but with your 2012 u may not even notice it. I have 3.73 gears. The ride is smother and handles better. Wish I hadn't waited so long.

I would get the AEV procal though, it made a difference on the shift points. My tranny was "Confused" a lot, especially on the highway uphill. There was a 2 inch difference between the stock tires and the Duratracs for me, enough to throw it off.

I have the mopar 2" kit and 285/75/17 and I get a terrible rub when turning tight and putting on brakes at same time. Only rubs when front end drops from the use of brakes. Gotten use to it and just don't turn sharp. Still running stock wheels and I know spacers will help but I want to wait on new wheels.

Have you adjusted the steer stop?
