My black one just got delivered to me yesterday!

 

Black is absolutely a horrible color to take care of.

 

Thanks to all who posted on this thread! I have decided on "Commando Green" for my 2013 JKUR.

 

I would say the commando green,

Reason #1 .. I owned a black JKU before my current white one.... It was a PAIN IN THE A$$ to keep looking good
the dirt did not bother me..... the damn fingerprints and pinstripes from the brush pissed me off!

Reason #2... The commando Green is unique however I've seen pics of it in the sahara and color matched tops...
Looked horrible in my opinion.... but I think with a black top and black fenders and black wheels...
IT WILL LOOK BADASS....

I just wish the commando green was in a matte finish!

 

Thanks for reinforcing the feeling that I have made the right choice.

I will definitely be doing the standard Black fenders and Hard Top. I agree that the color-matched looks kind of wrong.

I hope you saw the green first hand before ordering.
I was looking at one yesterday and didn't care for it.
However, the Rock Lobster was even worse.

 

I have not seen it in-person, though I have stared at it endlessly in various Google Images, etc.

It appears to be Olive Drab Green, but gloss rather than flat.

 

I used to drive a black Tacoma. It looked great when it was freshly washed and waxed.
But, it was HOT in the summer and a chore to keep looking good.
I don't plan to ever own another black vehicle after that.

 

I have the Black looks great after a bath but I saw my first commando green in person today I wish I had made that choice. I had a willow green Land Rover for 12 years never got tired of the Green

 

green no doubt.. if they had that in 2012 I would have gotten it!
