Why the hell are you bringing boards up to NYC? They actually have Home Depots and Lowes up there.
PS: If you like trains check out the Transportation Museum in Spencer. When you leave there make a right out of the lot, go about a mile and half up Salisbury Ave. to Steves Bar-B-Q

No Steve's BBQ in Spencer. Only Hendricks. My favorite NC BBQ is in Lexington.

Take the top off and strap them to the roll bars, park in a garage for safety and enjoy the stink of Brooklyn.

As mentioned above by "berg," I recommend (1) removing the front seat and then (2) folding the rear seat forward. You may have to use a bungie cord to hold the head rest flat. That may be easier that having to remove both the rear seat and the front seat. Just a thought.
