My time is coming!

Update:
Well my financial picture is looking real good, just got over the biggest hurtle. The restructuring I am doing will be complete by the end of the month, hopefully sooner. My wife has given me the go ahead, I have found the model that I want, even found the price at a dealership that I want (not the right color) I have been referred to some dealer guys, the dealership I contacted first wants to play ball. If all goes as planned, my 2009 Red Rock JK Unlimited X with S package, will be with me by the end of the month or first week of March!!!!!!
Sorry, my excitement is getting the better of me.

Wife's van in the shop for some warranty work, so we are down a car, 2 adults, 4 kids...well we ran out of room, we all can't ride in my current Jeep. Got a good friend, that has a 08 JK unlimited Sahara, as a second vehicle. He loans it to me for today and tomorrow, got to return it Wed. night. Man I love this thing. Makes my 2-3 week wait a nightmare.
My wife drove it, she says, and I agree, it rides and drives better than my 99 Grand Cherokee. She said she hates driving my GC. Man this journey is fun!

Interesting update. My friend with the JK that I borrowed, mentioned that he is going to consolidate his vehicles, and that he is thinking of selling the JK. Hmmm, I send him a note, and say if you are seriously looking to do this, lets talk, we might can work out a deal at the end of the month. He replied back, and we discussed it more when i dropped off the JK to him and said, "Perhaps we could arrive on a price that would be meaningful to both of us." He does very well with his career, he could retire right now, he is 46. So money is not an issue. Due to our relationship, who he is and his situations, I believe I can get a great deal that will be fair for both of us.
I assume that the Jeep is paid for, his other car is leased (Porsche Cayman)
Here are the stats:
2008 JK Unlimited Sahara
Red Rock, Khaki interior
dual top
Nav System Radio/Sirius
Infiniti speaker in back
Power group
255/70/18's Bridgestones (Decent shape)
Side Steps
Tow package
Fog lights, tow hooks
25K miles
Paint good shape
Interior good shape, a few stains on seats, but they wash up nicely I believe, they have that upgraded fabric in them??
Issues
B pillar (Door latch issue - Will be buying electrical tape)
Small round chip in windshield, very small, repairable
Radio/Nav system....could hear it, but not see anything, would shut off and then shut back on (I haven't researched this yet, but I remember reading something about problems with these)
Front passenger fender...he met up with a carport pole, scratched paint, knocked out the side marker
Bumper, each end cap has met something stronger than they are, minor scratches on them.
Really the only things I would want to get done by him would be the fender and the radio.
Kelley Blue Book Values
Trade-In Value 19,675
Private Party 23,040
Retail Value 26,590
Active sales listings at CarMax
Sahara's, same year, half the miles, Soft tops, no navigation $22,147
Sahara, 2007, same mileage, soft top, no navigation 20,147
Rubicon 2008, half the mileage, navigation, Hard top 24,998
This Jeep is almost what I was going to pick out. I would have gone with the gray interior opposed to the Khaki, I was looking at the X model, I would have loved the navigation system, but it put it out of my price range
I think I am going to offer him 20,000, have him get the fender fixed, and check on the navigation system.
What you guys think?
