I went to take lunch yesterday and noticed a wet spot under my Jeep and I couldn't quite figure out what is was, all the fluid levels for coolant, brake, engine and trans oil, and power steering were full. so I spent my lunch break under my Jeep trying to figure out what's wrong and there was a lot of yelling and cursing cuz Im going on a trip this weekend with 10+ other jk's. So I got it towed to the dealer and I get 26 miles of free towing and I spent $195 to pay for the 20miles that wasn't covered.... Now I'm really pissed. So I go to the dealer after work and they're already working on it and I wanted to wait around to see if it was a small problem that will be fixed before the weekend cuz I really really didn't want to take my rental Jeep liberty home. Anyways the dealer said that it was coolant that leaked from the overflow reservoir, but I don't believe them cuz I drive 25 to 30 miles to work at 230am and it was only 66 degrees yesterday at that time. What do u guys/girls think. Gonna pick up my jk this afternoon and pray that it will be OK for my trip this weekend that I have been waiting almost 2 months for. Any suggestions and thank you

just think of your jeep as a woman , and the wet spot as a good thing . possibly overfilled the coolant , thats the only way it should ome from the reservoir unless it has a crack on the seam ?

Ya lol. But I haven't touched the coolant and the radiator was full to the top. My jk is only 4months old. There is no way it could have overheated driving 60mph to work when it only 66 degrees. The reservoir wasn't even wet at all compared to the powersteering pump like in my pics, driver side lca and shock

Don't worry about it! A leak just means it's a real Jeep and not a knockoff! All kidding aside, hope you get it figured out. Hate seeing a fellow Jeep being flatbedded! Good luck!

Did you check your windshield wiper fluid? The last time I had my Jeep at the dealer the chuckleheads pulled the pump and didn't put it back. I filled it up and she peed all over the place. It just pops in and out, there is barely any gasket holding it in.

I'm pretty sure it's not washer fluid. What I just don't under stand is the liquid drippin from driver side frame rail was yellow like fresh engine oil and the liquid dripping from the coil spring ,shock power steering pump lca was kinda pink like auto trans or p.steering fluid.

Well as u can see from some of the pics, it's more than just a drip lol and there was a trail of drips leading to my Jeep for about 50feet then when I stop to park it left that big wet spot within a 4 hour period. I didn't see it leaking when I got to work and got out of the Jeep cuz it was dark and I didn't smell anything
