After offroading yesterday, one of my friends and I decided to have quite possibly the worlds slowest drag race. my 2011 JKU vs a 1997 Grand Cherokee (ZJ).

While this was not completely legal, In the interest of safety we were in a private neighborhood and did block off the road temporarily.

I'm happy to report that my JK won by about half a Jeep length. I gained a little respect for my 3.8 yesterday.

EDIT: In the interest of full disclosure I should say that my JK is stock with 2,900 miles and I had the top off. The ZJ had a 4.0 I6 with 180,000 miles, a CAI, 4" lift and 32" MTs. Not a huge win, but still made me proud lol.

 

HA! I saw the title and expected you to be racing a 9 year old on a bicycle. lol

 

Haha. I'm thinking the right kid on the right bike probably would've beat me lol.

 

i would have to say my 07 2dr x manual trans with airaid intake and cherry bomb pro muffler goes pretty damn good for a jeep, no complaints here.

 

My work car is a prius, and I'll be honest. It would probably beat my Jeep. The newest model isn't as slow as you'd think.
