Gee the Gulf of Oman seems like it can be rough like a bad neighborhood. Betchya the sea came up to the Jeep and tried to steal his fenders ... wait wrong rough
No matter how it happened water in general is no good never mind salt if not prepped before hand or dealt with soon after. All fluids ... change .... when hot, blow out and WD-40 / Di-electric grease electrical connectors... wash Jeep and enjoy.
Being you are close to the coast anyhow salt air is always going to be present so do not worry about 100% erratication as aluminum is going to pit, rust, etc etc

I'm serious....let the "river run through it".........lol. I'm all for washing it real good too, but water from a hose can't get to all the places a saltwater soak can get into. But if you soak it in fresh water just like you did in the salt, at least you know fresh water is getting everywhere. Of course it's best to do it right away.

if thats the case this guy has bigger balls than I do. He obviously parked this thing WAAAAYY down the beach for tide to come in fender high on a wrangler... sometimes i wonder about people... then I just remind myself: Some people were required to ride the short bus
