Ok, I have got everyone here beat hands down. The strangest thing my jeep has run over was ME! Yep, damn thing got away from me and caught my foot under the rear driver's side tire. Once it crawled up my ankle, leverage on my shin put me down on the ground like a rag doll. It then rolled over the full length of my left leg coming off me at thigh level. By some miracle, nothing was broken and nothing was torn. Just really deep bruising and road rash around the knee area. Thing was, the jeep kept going and impaled itself on the tongue of my fifth wheel trailer. Peeled the hood back like a tuna can. Insurance is fixing it and it's not as bad as the pictures look, but still its a helluva thing.

I've hit tons of gophers and ground squirles they are all over the place in some area's. I've also hit a few garter snakes going out to the cabin (they den in an area not far off the road). 1 bird rocked my windshield and 1 muskrat pancaked under the tires.
In my defence I'm often down highways that are very isolated where there isn't a town for hundreds of miles so the animals are everywhere, and I don't swerve to miss them

I think you should keep you hood and mount it in your garage
did anyone see it happen? they must of freaked if they did

Nothing yet. but I come close to taking out a (flock. gaggle, gander, or wahat ever they are called.... ) bunch of peacocks 2 or 3 times a week. They can only dodge my bumper for so long! I'm not trying to him they but I'm tired of swereving everytime they want to play chicken. Pardon the pun
