My experience with Sirius
First, Opie and Anthony are FINALLY on Sirius!!!! Channel 197.
Secondly,
When I bought my JK, my Sirius worked. I never thought anythig of it and figured it would be activated for a year like the window sticker said..
Well, 10 months later, it shut off. Which was 2 months early. I liked it and listened to it everyday, but I figured I wouldnt turn it back on til Opie and Anthony were on.
Once I was notified they were, I went onto Sirius' site to re-activate my radio, It asked for my VIN number and Sirius Radio ID. I entered both. Then on the next page, it said I have a free year of radio service. I was like
So thats my story. I only had to pay $48 to add XM's programming and I got an additional free year of Sirius
I hope some of you get the same deal I got.

Sirius use to offer a lifetime for ~$420-470, don't know if they still do. With their stock price where it is, I am not sure I would commit that much money to them.

Yes they use to, but wasnt it only for 1 radio? So if you switch to a different stereo/car you couldn't transfer? Dunno....

I hope I can get the same luck. I am having my Jeep shipped to Panama, which is outside of the coverage area. Eventually is will be back in the States, hopefully I can still get the free year.

Good point. Thanks for posting the price range. I can't see them going out of business but I can see mergers or some other change to keep them making money. If anything, the subscription price would increase not decrease, so locking in at a good rate for a while would be the plan.
