Default My dog ate my seatbelt.

This afternoon I had the dogs in the Jeep. One of them decided to snack on the rear seat driver's side seatbelt. She almost chewed completely through it. Is this something I can fix, or do I have to bring it to the dealership?

Let me know.

Sorry to hear about the chew crazy pooch. Sounds like something my Chocolate lab would do. Good luck on the fix but now I'm curious what kind of dog did the damage?

She didn't like the fact that you didn't take her with you and instead left her in the Jeep. Mine did the same thing the first and last time I took him target shooting. I left him in the truck since he never liked the sound of gun fire or fireworks (but, oddly enough, thunder didn't phase him). While I was shooting, he chewed right through the shoulder strap on the passenger side. And it wasn't even my truck! Bad Dog!!!

She did this in a matter of about 1 minute. We were putting the kids in the Jeep to go for a hike. By the way, she's a Border Collie.

My Lab started to eat mine aswell, but luckily I caught him in time. Now I just clip the seat belts in and knock on wood he hasn't touched them since.

Hopefully that works until I can find a good barrier that he won't chew thru.
