4" Lift. 35" tires. 5.13 gears. Exhaust relocation. Shrockworks front bumper with PowerPlant winch. PureJeep rear bumper with tire carrier. Hypertech MaxEnergy programmer. Mostly top off. Tons of other mods.
19 MPG Highway. In Arizona (not a flat or wind-free state). Measured over several road trips. Trust the dash MPG, but verify with miles traveled over gallons used.
Off road (e.g. rock crawling)? about 12 MPG.
Towing (e.g. a 3500# trailer)? 14 MPG.
Helps to use "hypermileage" techniques. I have a Civic Hybrid (61 MPG over 21,000 miles) and my wife drives a Yaris (37 MPG over 12,000 miles), so we've learned to drive very conservatively. I don't drive 75 MPG, even though that's the speed limit. I watch ahead for red lights. I let the engine and transmission determine the speed - I don't force it up the hills. I think I could get 20 MPG+ if I let it get below 55 MPH.
I guess it depends on how much you like to spend on gas.
