Default Mountains/backcountry of Coloroda/NM 16" stock steelies and tires. Wat do?

So I'll be road tripping from Nashville to Pagosa Springs, CO in mid December. I'm not replacing my wheels and tires until spring, but I'll be heading up to some private land in Pagosa. Other than your normal wheeling stuff and tire chains, what do you recommend to throw in the back? I plan on stopping when I just can't go any more and showshowing up to the property, but I don't want to hike 5 miles in snowshoes. Ideas?

Hi

I would have some kind of "sand ladder" and shovel with me. That is what I am going to have here in Sweden wintertime. And also sleepingbag, lot of clothes, food and water and many ledlamps (ledheadlamp) and candles, mobilephone, map, leave a note to folks You know. Down clothes and artic boots like theese "Built to meet the challenges of extreme cold—the Glacier is rated to -100° below zero" and I have theese boots

In US probably Element Ramp by Smittybilt

Waffle boards that we have i Europe

I paid about 43 dollars for it in England, if You have it in US it would probably be less than 20 dollars in US

That combined with tire chains looks to be a good combo. I'm not going to be doing anything serious, but I will be on some not so commonly used roads.
