Other than the large engine cover, there is ample room under the hood to work on the 3.6. I would consider this a non-issue.

also my AC works and from what i hear the 2012's have had some probs!
My A/C blows cold and consistent. Like most internet forums, I'm sure a handful of isolated incidents get presented as epidemic as most with functioning A/C don't chime in to point out theirs is still working.

Just drove my first 2012....

2012 JKU automatic, 3.73

Initial impression, anyone who says there isn't a huge difference is DELUSIONAL!

Holy hell- I was giggling like a schoolgirl!

All I could think is how much better it will be after the initial 500 miles when the break-in program turns off!

Now I CANNOT wait to get mine!

I'd say the most obvious different is when you put the pedal to the floor around 25mph and it plasters you to the drivers seat... As opposed to just making more noise like every other JK.

After picking up my JKU this evening, I have to concur with MT's review.

Im waiting to see how that alum block is going to take offroading, I dont have a good feeling about it. Iron block is much more durable.

Default Other up-grades to the vehicle?

I have a 2008 2 dr Rubi that I have had issues with the front end from Day 1. I'm considering the 2012 Rubi in 4 dr. I have two questions:

1. Did they address the issues with the weak front end?

2. Did you drive the 4 dr and how does it handle both on and off road?

While I understand why they did it, I don't like what Chrysler did to the interior in 2011. I personally like to up-grade the inside with radios and equipment. But since we have no choice, I'll live with it.

I'm considering a 2012 JKU Rubicon. I'm interested in how yours drives, especially loaded and off road.
