HYDROLOCKING in my opinion!!!!
(OK, I'm sort of biased...see here: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-talk-26/here-we-go-locked-up-hydrolocked-65805/ )
BUT, the story of the New Year's Day run with the tree coming THROUGH the FIREWALL...
I didn't think that type of thing should be POSSIBLE to happen through a FIREWALL! I've always known firewalls to be one of the strongest, if not - THE STRONGEST - part of a vehicle. Guess it's one of those things that it just has to be right for it to fail! Absolutely incredible...I only read that story a couple of days ago!!!!

I have the answers to both of these,, The performance is decent, not great, and I'm getting 22mpg if I don't go over 90mph in my 120 mile per day commute,, better than the wife's liberty,, best at 19,, and if feels slow,, but in a drag race it beat a few other jeeps(even a 4.0 tj) up the mountain near the house,, and will do 100mph,, gear it better and don't put tires that weigh 110# each and it will still perform..
And Engine oil,, 5w20 as the manual states.. Most prefer synthetic as its the easiest to find in this weight and if you run to the 5k mile interval that the manual says its just piece of mind to go with synthetic
Ok,, and yes,, the #1 thread/discussion,, I would think is will they make the JT or J8 for the US,, like the sarge,, or Egyptian mil jeep..
