Went to go visit my mom on Saturday, top off/doors off, and had my wife totally cracking up 
04 miles down the road – female, jk, no mods - no wave back
07 miles down the road – female, jk, no mods - no wave back
11 miles down the road – male, tj, $10k mods - no wave back but received a WTF look
18 miles down the road – male, jk, $6k mods - no wave back
Drive back home:
11 miles down the road – female, jk, no mods - no wave back
14 miles down the road – male, jk, $4k mods - no wave back
16 miles down the road – male, tj, $10k mods - he checked me out pretty hard but I got a return wave
After the 5th no wave my wife was bust’n up at me and said “Just wave if they wave to you first” My answer to her was “That’s not how I roll” only to receive more laughter...

In the DC area it seems rare to get a wave back, but I still do it. Maybe 20% of the time I'll get a wave back. I think a lot of it has to do with most people are so busy while they're driving, cell phones, radio, dvds, that paying attention to your surroundings has kind of fallen by the wayside.
Or it could just be I'm in the DC area and it's full of uptight asses. lol

That's not exactly what I meant but now that you mention it, if people could sit down over a good Canadian barley sandwich and shoot the shit then there would be a lot less bullshit and problems in the world and everyone would do the Jeep wave!!! Anyone for a nice cold Moosehead????

I have always heard about the Jeep wave. Where I live it’s a small town and pretty ruaral area. You get waves from Chevy’s, fords, and tractors. Pretty much anyone you pass on the street. So when I do pass a Jeep I cant tell if it’s a jeep wave or a Mississippi wave.
