This is getting ridiculous, got waves from every TJ, YJ the other day when I had the top/doors off. Ignored by two soccer moms with the A/C on and windows up in their stocker JK Unlimiteds...

I don't get to many waves from any Jeeps.....I wave and nothing....just left hanging as I drive by.....

My wife was clueless about the wave and shook her head when I waved to other Jeeps.....and I told her it's a Jeep Thing....you should do it....don't leave anyone hanging. So, she has gotten hooked on waving to all the Wranglers.

everywhere yøu go ... you will find those that don't wave ... usually 99% of the time its women!

I find if its aguy thats bought a 4 door up here in wa. they buy it cause its a jeep .. and they know what they're doin .... if its a woman! OHHHH BOY!

Same with the 2 doors ... TJs and some YJ drivers are like that .... CJ and willy's owners are shocked when they see a jK wavin .. I love the look on their face! Priceless!

My wife does the same - she thinks it's idiotic.

55% Wave back.
15% Look startled , like i caught them driving a stolen vehicle.
10% look but ignore it.
10% Never acknowledge it either way.
8% look, and just give me a dirty look back.
2% Look at me like I'm a flippin retard for waving at them when I am driving the Saturn

I took my girl for a cruise in the JK last night. We haven't spent much time in it together, but there were a ton of Jeeps on the road last night. I was waving and getting everyone back, and she was dumbfounded. She finally asked me if we had some "harley" thing going on.

It was about 50/50 with TJ's and JK's. I'm still stock in my JK, but i had the soft top up, but windows out. What a great evening.

I'll be adding a arb bumper and warn winch, along with some bushwacker fenders, and might even get some new shoes. But that's all next summer when the cash flow is back.

Easy Brigitta, Those in glass houses... you know. I am 50-50 on waves from all Jeeps, but 80-20 men to women.

They might not want to wave to me since I am usually drooling, sometimes at the Jeep, sometimes at the girl driving it.

The wave is a thing of the past, at least it is here in the Bay Area. I don't bother any longer.

after i got my first jeep back in 2000 i started getting a Jeep mag in the mail... i remember reading about the wave in that mag. before that i didnt know about it so i wasnt waving back.

after getting my JK i didnt get any kind of publications (did they stop making it?).... so im just thinking these new JK owners that are brand new family members just dont even know about the wave.
