Yeah, that's in reference to the tubes snapping near the bracket welds like snapping a pencil. Search or go to the link someone posted for pictures. We aren't talking shafts, but tubes the break. I've have ran D44s under jeeps, broncos, isuzus and have never snapped a tube. The should bend or twist first.

I have heard of axle shafts breaking, but this is the first to hear of a housing snap like that. I would expect that of cast iron, but these things are supposed to be steel. It must be that high quality Asian steel they're using.

Dana 60
I just read one of my brothers 4-wheel magazines and read that mopar will be offering a Dana 60 that bolts on to the JK. I am not sure if anyone has read this but it an be retrofitted. Happy Jeepin!
