Default Mopar Bikini top questions

I am thinking about going with a mopar bikini top and duster cover on the 4-door year round. Probably not going to bother with the windjammer. I live in south florida so cold is not an issue. I have a few questions about this setup:

1. How hard is it to take the mopar bikini top off/on? how long does it take? It looks like it might be a PITA with those straps in the back.

2. Once it is off, is there anywhere to store it in the jeep? Does it roll up easily and will it store in the back seat or behind the back seat?

3. How wet will it get inside if it rains with this setup without the windjammer? I am assuming it wouldn't be too bad and the back seat might just get damp, which is no problem.

Sorry, I deleted my post; just read that you have the MOPAR (I thought it was Bestop)

I like mine, hell, with the doors on it doesn't leak as bad as my softop does by the doors. about 5min to put on , 2min to take off. I run mine 6mo outta the year, I don't care about the water in the rear though, I pulled all my drain plugs along time ago.

No need to be sorry. I will say this, I bought the bikini hard top version, but wrap it around my softop door frames, zero water leaks in the doors. If you get that version and don't have the softop frames, you'll have about an in gap above the doors. They do sell a softop frame version to tuck in like a reg softop, I got the other and just wrap around the frame instead off the sport bar.

I have the Mopar softtop version. I had the hardtop version before, and I like the softtop version much better. But, the hardtop version works great if you don't own the door rails. Here's the softtop version with the rails ...

As for water into your Jeep--assuming you have the doors on--for the hardtop version and no door rails you will have leakage between the doors and the top. The opening is big enough to fit your palm in. Water will streak down on the inside of the windows. For the softtop version, the only leakage I have is at the rear. At the rear, the Duster will collect water and when you brake that water will end up in the vehicle.

Mark,
I currently have the best top bikini top, and the quality is pretty lame. So I'm thinking of ordering the mopar sun bonnet based on the better feedback. I have the door sorrounds and that is the only way I will run it to keep the water out. However, I don,t have the mopar header channel. I want to order the soft top version to utilize the door sorrounds, but before I order I need to know if that version definitely comes with the header channel?

I have the best top one as well and it ballooned and stretched so much that I can't even use it anymore. I had it on my jeep for .... maybe 2 weeks

Mopar version has a built in header.
