AEM intake and Magnaflow exhaust. I put them on my previous Unlimited--won't waste the money on my new Rubicon. The only thing they did was make the Jeep sound better. As for power, I noticed no change when I installed the AEM intake. Then when I installed the Magnaflow exhaust, I noticed decreased power.

Pure Jeep non-winch stubby bumper. I installed on on my previous Jeep. It stayed on about 5 minutes. Nothing wrong with it, and I'm sure it would have been perfectly functional, but I thought it looked ugly and cheap.

I'll start: Rugged Ridge Mirror re-locator. Put it on and now I can't see out of the passenger side mirror. Will put the factory ones back on and get something else when time comes to take the doors off again.
Intermediate lifts that are put on and then pulled off are frustrating.
"beefing up" my 44 before moving up to a 60 was also frustrating, but I got much of that money back in my re-sale.
Not buying great shocks up front, but rather settling and upgrading later was a waste too.

So far, surprisingly, nothing. I love everything about my rig and my mods!

Wish I would have gotten beadlocks instead of steel wheels.

This is more tag than contribution.

Harley long stem mirrors work great.

The more I look at "stuff", the more I think I won't do much w/my 12 Rubi. I did add 2" spacers to the front (isolators on top). Damn thing costs me enough already and I know it's crazy capable offroad.

Sure do miss a winch tho (used only a couple times in the <year I had it on my 08, good to know it's there) but the RR XHD/winch sure did add a bunch of weight causing handling issues until I added ACOS, their matching rear bumper looked good, never really put it thru the paces tho/have no idea if it could stand up to actually being used. $1,500+ is a *lot* of $ in my house to throw at bumpers and shit.

I don't know how some people do it, I look at jeeps now with a totally different attitude/view, some people must be rich

Great thread gang, thanks for the insight!

ETA: What's a CAI???
