The mirrors I had bad experience with, was Olympic mirrors. They rattle around so bad, they're useless at higher speeds.

By far the "best" mirrors for when the doors are off and mounts in the door hinges are to get the Die-Tech Off-road Mirror brackets.

Thanks for the shout out. I'm glad you like our brackets. I've been using them on my JK since we came out with them. And I'm itching to hang those doors back on my garage wall again.

We have a distributor that offers a kit with the mirrors. They're more than $60-80 though. You can get to them through a link on our website.

I love great products that have the look and quality like they belonged there from the start and your mirror mounts definitely have that.
Die-Tech Off-road
American steel. American made.

Seriously guys and gays, check out the thread I started where I asked others to post pictures of their doorless mirror mount solutions.

You'll see a lot of the suggestions that have been posted already in this thread, which are great recommendations but you'll soon realize the Die-Tech mounts are in a class all their own, where there's Die Tech mounts, and then there's everything else.

I called and emailed rugged ridge for atotal of 5 times, no reply. So when it was time to get all my up grades ($4000) I bought from other companys.

Here's the seller on ebay I got my OE knock-off replacements from.

$70 for the pair, free shipping or $40 individually.
07 10 Jeep Wrangler Black Manual Side Mirrors Set Pair Left LH Right RH | eBay

They look, feel, and adjust like the OE's.

I had the RR mirror relocation brackets. It was a one-time fix, so it was a great investment.

There was and still is a problem(someone correct me if I'm wrong), but with the doors on you cannot really see out of the passenger mirror. Most of the mirror is blocked by the door. However, one blind spot mirror and a couple of months later I was used to the mirror and all was well. Some cannot be bothered with a blind spot mirror however.

I also have the dietech mounts... and yes.. they are the most expensive option out there...

But I felt like I really got what I paid for... has the look, and feel of a better than OEM solution.

Sorry... but every time I see motorcycle mirrors on a JK, I have to laugh.. and I've never had a rugged ridge product that wasn't cheap crap.. Less than OEM quality, with very little thought put into it. For example, the passenger mirror on the rugged ridge set up is very difficult to use with doors on.

You probably paid upwards of 30K for your JK... don't curse her with cheap shit parts.
JMO of course.

I run Harley mirrors all summer and they work fine. If you want a cheap no hassle minimalist solution it's the way to go, screw them in and forget about it.

I had a set on my '07 which went with it when I sold the Jeep. I have a 2013 on the way, and just ordered another set of Die-Tech brackets and ebay knock off mirrors this week.

I tried a few of the other "solutions", and none worked near as well as the Die-Techs.

x3, on the Die-Tech mirror brackets. Used them on all my Jeeps. Vibration free and the passenger mirror is useable .....
