Jeep soft tops and Jeep hard tops can both help you to keep your interior safe from the weather and pedestrians. But I most prefer to use soft tops because it is inexpensive and simple to use.

When we were dating 20 years ago, the wife's dad always had jeeps we would borrow. Finally in a spot to buy our own jeep last year, we opted for the historic memories of the old jeeps and bought a two door manual. Reality of life has proven it to be a poor choice. It's for sale and will be replaced with a four door auto as soon as it sells.

I drive in traffic all the time with a manual. I don't even notice that I'm hitting the clutch and shifting anymore. I like having control of my transmission. I know what is the best gear to be in and when to down shift up shift. I don't like a computer to determine if I can down shift when I floor it.

I'm a private military contractor so I have to juggle between a computer and an AR on base in it and doing that it gets difficult to shift but I guess that's kinda my fault cause I chose to use my jeep instead of a nasty ex police car haha

I sit in atlanta traffic everyday.
The best day of my driving life was getting rid of my manual truck for my auto jku. There is nothing cool about sitting in stop and go traffic while having to feather a clutch or be stuck between 1st and 2nd.

Also, you can forget manual windows as well. I don't need the "cool" points of leaning across my jeep or walking around to the back to roll my windows down

I guess that would be a pain. I would rather an automatic Jeep than no Jeep then.
