Man the Jeep world has changed...
I come from a TJ jeep world....MAN the JK world is different. We never thought of running blinged out 18s or 20s. What is it about the JKs that people love putting chromed out, huge wheels on them? I know the JK is a bulkier Jeep, so I guess the argument is that bigger wheels look better. But anyway, I just wanted to know whats happened to Jeep Modders;and since when are huge and sometimes gaudy wheels the way to go? Im not meaning to be a jerk, just wondering what changed between 2006 and 2007 haha. Discuss!!

I think because largely, they didnt exist yet, and if they did the rubber to match was scarce or so costly it just couldnt be managed

mine came with stock 16's, and now i'm running 17" cragars... i dont think that i'll ever run anything bigger than an 18"....especially with the prices... bigger rims= more $, and a 35 w/16 is less than a 35 w/17, which is more $ for less rubber...??

In the end, I will probably keep my 17's and go with a larger tire.
