Back when I bought my JKU and joined this site, I read that Sahara's are mall crawlers, and nobody ever takes them offroad. But that was when WAL and his sycophants owned the site; it's better since they left to form their own little circle jerk.

I'll admit, though, anytime I see a built out Jeep, I look for nature's pin strips or rock rash. Even the guys who really take care of their stuff can't avoid a few scratches, and every scratch has a good story.

At the end of the day, however, a Wrangler is like an adult Lego set. We take parts on, put parts off, and no two modified Wranglers ever look the same. That's why I love my Wrangler and will never get rid of it.

You could go a step further and say jeeps in general are adult Lego sets. One thing I see a lot though is people get caught up in the game of mindless mods causing build prices to skyrocket. I'd still love to do a cheap truck build one day and see how much fun I can have.....

I got the 7 spoke optional wheels and thought they didn't look right, but Plasti-Dip saved the day.

Honestly, who cares about what people think. Jeeps can be used for a range of things and some people like to spend ALOT of money on their jeeps and some like a simple and nicely put together Jeep. Many people make life a competition and they can go be unhappy somewhere else. Also, most people don't have 10k-20k to drop into a Jeep right when they buy it so it takes time and money to build what you want.

The only thing I ask of Jeep owners is that if you do upgrades then try to be apart of the process so that you can learn. You do not want to be that person that has no idea whats going on with their Jeep.

Lastly, if you own a Jeep, RETURN THE JEEP WAVE TO OTHER JEEPS!!!
