Now my jk on the other hand likes to swim and get dirty the way that things were intended. (edit for rnjstel: I have no idea where I first saw the pavement princess decal, saw it many years ago and remembered it and thought it would fit my sister in laws jeep perfectly. had it made up locally, amazing how close the 2 actually look. cheers.)

So Mariner, your JK likes to swim and all that?? Look at my video in my signature. I bet you've not done that before. Here is the shocker- it was bone stock. so suddenly it seems like someone is a little self-centered and conceited at that because he thinks he is better than others who don't modify their jeeps. A quick question- did your uncle touch you as a child?
This things are the most capable mall crawlers ever! They are as cool as a mall crawler can be... with my wrangler, i don't f***ng care where is the mall... i'll get there! yeah!

My Jeep was a thought that I need a smaller versatile vehicle. To drive around town and go to the Mall. One that I don't have to fold myself up to get into. I'm a tall person. I liked the fact it came with two top option. Ha,,, I get it home and with in a few days I'm driving in the woods trying to get it stuck in mud.
I put a small 2 in lift into it to make it taller to look over the other vehicles. I like the fact that I can drive fast on gravel roads with the top down and not worry about rock chips or damage. It's perfect for me and I wave at the soccer moms.
I take it on the trails as much as possible the way it is. Mods are on the way...

It's about perspective. A stock JK wrangler, out of the box and unmodified, is an incredible machine in the woods, and far more capable than the modified rigs of the 1980s. The fact of the matter is that most folks modify their Jeeps because it's fun to modify them. It's as much about form as it is about function.
I'm just sayin...

The only reason I bought my Jeep was in case of the Zombie Apocolypse!!!!
I'm just playing, I thoroughly enjoy planning my life around Jeep Rides, but the Zombie thing does sound cool.

This thread makes me wonder if people who's hobby is Stock Car racing, if those guys go around criticizing other Chevy Cutlas owners, because they haven't put 700 H.P. worth of mods and a crash cage inside their Cutlas?
"Hey Mall Crawler.....you're psychologically abusing your Cutlas, because you haven't put the same kind of mods into your Cutlas as me"
"Bling.....Bling.....headed to the mall."
"F That....akseminole said he would hang out with me and be my friend now."
