I've got a friend with a stock LJ and he does things I'd never do. I'm much more modified. I'm 52 and cautious..he's 29 and adventuress.

I say enjoy your stock ride. I'm picked on for being old and watching my friends tear crap up. Heck we all laugh when I'm driving them home.

Mean spirited folks will always find something.

 

Its no issue to be sweat. We bring stock jeeps with our club all the time. Yeah we wre winching them out a loy. But they are having twice as much as we are. Everything is harder, and i think thats what makes it much more fun. We have a tj in our group on 31s, and he goes more places then some of us do on 37s. And most of the club has 35s and he keeps up with all of them. Dont let idiots bash you. Its a matter of having fun and enjoying what you have, instead of spending money. You wanna spend money use it on fuel and have a trip! Be happy and jeep on brother. Your life is only what you make of it, not what others make of it. And when you do something stock which they cant do. Its that much more fun! While you laugh at em

 

I like all Jeeps. I wave to anyone driving a JK to XJ and everything in between. I bought mine with nothing and people still waived! Now that I have some mods on it I get more people waving and staring so I say keep waving! It's just the polite thing to do!

 

I dont worry about it.. . i get razzed because I buy jeeps and dont wheel and dont mod much... im over it.. I do my thing.. one thing I have on commoin with the rest of the jeepers is that I enjoy my Jeep.. regardless of whether you bought it to crawl rock walls or crawl concrete malls, mod it beyond recognition or just drive it from the lot to the mud matters not..

all in all its your Jeep... enjoy it and dont worry if others dont enjoy your jeep.. thats their deal..

This little TJ on 31s got a round of applause at Jeep Beach. The guys in front of us on 35's were struggling. My 17-year-old daughter wheeled right through in her little Jeep.



It doesn't look like much but it does a lot.
