I am wondering if you have to remove the rear bumper again to install the safety chain mounts???

If that's the case, I will go down to a local welding ship and get them to weld some type of mounts on the bottom by the frame rails.

Just spoke with Chris at LoD..... you do not have to remove the bumper to install the safety chain plate.

My plate should also be on it's way soon.

I asked for the safety chain mounts when I ordered mine. They never showed up.

I've been meaning to call David and LOD to see what's up.

That is my only complaint with my LOD sliders...I should have taken then in and gotten at least the interior center section sprayed with LineX or something....after one Iowa winter and the accompanying salt that you could never keep out of the center of the sliders...I have one rusty mess that isn't going to be too easy to correct.

Sweet! I really wasn't looking forward to pulling that damn thing off. Figure out what you're doing with that front stinger yet?

I am hoping to get hooked up for the safety chain plate as well. I wish my Dad did not sell his Misc & Structural Steel company...could have had him or one of his employee's rig up a plate to bolt onto the bumper.
